Peer Review Policy
NG Agricultural Sciences follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and scientific rigour of published articles.
Initial Screening:
All submitted manuscripts are screened by the editorial office for:
- scope relevance
- plagiarism (using standard similarity detection tools)
- basic methodological and formatting compliance
Review Process:
- Manuscripts that pass initial screening are assigned to an editor.
- Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.
- Reviewers are selected based on subject expertise and absence of conflict of interest.
- Author and reviewer identities are concealed throughout the review process.
Editorial Decision:
Based on reviewer reports, the editor may decide:
- Accept
- Minor revision
- Major revision
- Reject
Revision and Final Decision:
Revised manuscripts may be returned to reviewers for further evaluation. The final decision rests with the editorial board.
Review Timeline:
The journal aims to complete the first decision within 3–5 weeks, depending on reviewer availability.
Ethical Oversight:
All review processes adhere to principles of fairness, confidentiality, and academic integrity.
