Abstract

Water conservation techniques could be revolutionized by potassium polyacrylate, a crucial climate-resilient substitute for water management in arid regions due to its superabsorbent qualities. Applying this polymer to soil makes it a very efficient water reservoir because it can absorb and hold water up to 500 times its weight. This ability to retain large amounts of water and gradually release it to plant roots lowers the frequency and volume of irrigation while maintaining soil moisture levels. In agriculture, potassium polyacrylate is utilized to increase crop yield and lessen water stress, especially in regions with few water supplies and costly irrigation.
