Peer Review Policy

Next Gen Multidisciplinary Research (NGMR) follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of scholarly publishing. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to eliminate bias and promote impartial evaluation.

Review Process

1. Initial Screening
All submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief or an assigned Associate Editor to assess:

  • Relevance to the journal’s aims and scope

  • Originality and novelty

  • Compliance with formatting and submission guidelines

2. Plagiarism Check
Before peer review, manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin or iThenticate to ensure compliance with NGMR’s originality standards.

3. Double-Blind Peer Review

  • Manuscripts are sent to at least two independent expert reviewers in the relevant field.

  • Reviewers evaluate the paper’s quality, methodology, significance, and clarity.

  • Reviewer comments and recommendations are shared with authors, with identities kept confidential for both sides.

4. Decision
Based on reviewer feedback, the editorial decision will be one of:

  • Accept

  • Minor Revision

  • Major Revision

  • Reject

Timeline

  • Average time from submission to first decision: 15 days

  • Final publication timeline: Depends on the extent of revisions and author response time.

Reviewer Ethics

Reviewers are expected to:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of the review process

  • Avoid any conflict of interest

  • Provide objective, constructive, and evidence-based feedback

  • Adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity
