Abstract

Agriculture faces extensive effects from climate change, which ranks among the foremost problems of the 21st century because agriculture both creates and experiences these alterations. The paper analyzes how agricultural productivity confronts multiple threats from three elements: elevated temperatures combined with modified precipitation behavior, along with intensified dangerous weather occurrences and disrupted pest and disease activity. Several adaptation strategies that include crop and livestock diversification along with the creation of drought and heat tolerant crops form part of the developed options. The strategy also incorporates integrated pest management, conservation agriculture and effective irrigation techniques, rainwater harvesting in combination with agroforestry and agroecological management systems to receive policy and institutional support. This article introduces concepts of agricultural resilience against climate change through scientific research findings and real-world examples with recommended policy solutions. Converting these strategies into practical use will secure food accessibility combined with sustainable economic welfare for future generations.
