Article Processing Charges
Journal of Sustainable Agriculture and Allied Sciences (JSAS) is an open access journal, meaning all articles are freely available online immediately upon publication.
To cover the costs of peer review, editing, online hosting, archiving, and indexing, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied to accepted manuscripts.
Standard APC: USD 150 per accepted article.
Waivers and Discounts
1) Research4Life Country Eligibility
JSAS follows the Research4Life program for determining APC waivers and discounts:

Group A (Free Access Countries) → 100% APC waiver

Group B (Low-Cost Access Countries) → 50% APC discount
The official list of eligible countries is maintained by Research4Life and updated annually.
2) Support for Unfunded Authors
We recognize that not all authors have access to grants or institutional funding. Authors from any country who lack funding may request a full waiver or partial discount. Requests should be made at the time of submission with a brief explanation of the funding situation.

Waiver/discount decisions are at the discretion of the Editorial Board.

The peer review process is independent of an author’s ability to pay APCs.
