Peer Review Policy
Journal of Sustainable Agriculture and Allied Sciences (JSAS) follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of scholarly publishing. In this process, the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential to minimize bias.
Review Process

Initial Screening
Submissions are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief or an assigned Associate Editor for relevance, originality, ethical compliance, and adherence to the journal’s scope and formatting guidelines. -
Plagiarism Check
Manuscripts are screened for similarity using Turnitin/iThenticate before external review. -
Double-Blind Peer Review

Each manuscript is sent to at least two independent expert reviewers.

Reviewers evaluate quality, methodology, significance, and clarity.

Reviewer comments and recommendations are shared with authors; identities of both parties remain anonymous.

Based on reviewer feedback and editorial assessment, decisions are: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
Timeline
The average time from submission to first decision is ~15 days. Final publication timelines may vary depending on the extent and speed of revisions.
Reviewer Ethics
Reviewers must maintain confidentiality, declare any conflicts of interest, and adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity. Reviews should be constructive, evidence-based, and timely.
