Author Subscription (Annual)

NG Agriculture Insights (NGAI) offers an Annual Author Subscription for active contributors who wish to publish regularly. The plan allows one accepted article per issue, across 6 issues per year.

Annual Fee: ₹1,500

Pricing & Inclusions

  • 6 issues per year — entitlement to 1 accepted article per issue (up to 6 accepted articles in the subscription year).

  • Standard peer review applies to all submissions; editorial independence is maintained.

  • No additional APC (Article Processing Charge) for accepted articles covered by an active subscription.

  • All published articles receive DOI assignment, online publication, and indexing as per journal policy.

Who Can Use the Subscription?

  • The subscription is tied to an individual author account on our OJS platform.

  • All listed authors on a manuscript must hold an active Author Subscription.

  • If a co-author does not have an annual subscription, they may pay a one-time fee of ₹200 for that particular publication.

  • If co-authors neither subscribe annually nor pay the one-time fee, the article will be published in the subscriber’s name only, or those co-authors must be removed before publication.

How It Works

  1. Purchase the annual Author Subscription.
  2. Submit manuscripts as usual during submission.

  3. Peer review proceeds per journal policy. If accepted, the article will be scheduled for the next suitable issue.

Note: Acceptance is not guaranteed. Editorial and peer-review standards are identical for all authors.

 

Terms & Policy

  • Coverage: Subscription covers publication charges for accepted manuscripts submitted by the subscribed author, up to one accepted article per issue.

  • Authorship & Eligibility:

    • All authors listed on a manuscript must hold an active Author Subscription.

    • Co-authors without subscription may instead pay a ₹200 one-time publishing fee for that article.

    • Otherwise, the article will be published under the subscriber’s name only, or non-subscribed authors must be removed.

  • Peer Review: All submissions must meet journal scope, quality standards, and pass peer review. Editorial decisions are independent and final.

  • Validity: 12 months from the date of successful payment.

  • Carry-over: Unused entitlements do not carry forward to the next subscription year.

  • Transfers: Subscriptions are linked to the author’s account and are not transferable.

  • Refunds: Payments are non-refundable once access is activated.

  • Ethics: Authors must comply with the journal’s publication ethics, authorship, data availability, and plagiarism policies.

  • Article Limits: Standard word count, figure/table limits, and formatting guidelines apply.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does the subscription guarantee acceptance?
No. All submissions undergo standard editorial screening and peer review. Only manuscripts that meet the journal’s standards will be accepted.

Do co-authors need their own subscriptions?
Yes, unless they pay a ₹200 one-time publishing fee for that particular article. Otherwise, the article will only be published in the subscriber’s name.

Are there any additional charges?
No additional APC is required for accepted articles under an active subscription. Optional services (e.g., language polishing) may involve extra charges if requested.

Can I publish more than one article in the same issue?
The plan allows one accepted article per issue. Additional accepted articles may be scheduled for later issues at the Editor’s discretion.
