Integrative Plant Journal is a peer-reviewed open access journal publishing original and interdisciplinary research in plant science, crop science, plant biology, plant biotechnology, plant health, and sustainable agricultural systems.

Aim and Scope

Integrative Plant Journal is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research articles, reviews, and short communications in the interdisciplinary domains of plant science and allied agricultural sciences. The journal aims to provide a comprehensive platform for researchers, academicians, scientists, practitioners, and policymakers to share their latest findings, innovations, and analytical approaches that address contemporary challenges in plant biology, crop improvement, plant health, climate resilience, and sustainable agriculture.

The scope of the journal includes plant physiology, plant genetics and breeding, crop science, agronomy, horticulture, plant pathology, plant-microbe interactions, plant biotechnology, molecular biology, seed science and technology, plant nutrition, soil-plant relationships, plant ecology, biodiversity, abiotic and biotic stress physiology, climate-resilient crop production, medicinal and aromatic plants, underutilized crops, post-harvest physiology, plant product quality, precision agriculture, digital tools in plant research, and sustainable plant production systems.

Integrative Plant Journal welcomes submissions that address cutting-edge research, innovative technologies, and practical applications at the intersection of basic plant science, applied agricultural research, environmental sustainability, and crop productivity. The journal is committed to promoting interdisciplinary research and fostering collaboration among plant scientists, agricultural researchers, biotechnologists, ecologists, practitioners, and policymakers to address global challenges in food security, plant health, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable agricultural development.

Integrative Plant Journal (IPJ) is a fully open access, peer-reviewed journal. All articles are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without embargo. No registration is required to read, download, or share content.

IPJ adheres to the DOAJ definition of open access. All content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.

Authors retain copyright and full publishing rights without restrictions. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to the full text, crawl the work for indexing, pass it as data to software, or use it for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers.

Originality and Plagiarism

Plagiarism is not acceptable in Integrative Plant Journal submissions. Plagiarized content will not be considered for publication. If plagiarism is identified, the journal will follow COPE-aligned editorial procedures.

Authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if they have used the work and/or words of others, this has been appropriately cited or quoted.

Integrative Plant Journal (IPJ) is committed to long-term digital preservation and permanent access to its published content. The journal is archived through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a trusted preservation service for Open Journal Systems (OJS) journals.
